If you love art and antiques then you have to go to Main Street Antiques in Leesburg. You should grab a friend and spend the day. There is so much to see. As soon as walked in I knew this store was going to be great. Huge windows let the sun shine through out the building. There are exposed brick walls. Even an upstairs that has yet to be filled. I spoke with the owner about his store. He just opened the store in September and already has thirty-nine vendors and six working artists. So let me show you around....... The Art GalleryThese are made from recycled glass. These are fun and the colors are so vivid. The AntiquesThis sideboard with marble top is incredible! Can believe you this piece and look at the tapestry. Wow! There is a huge selection of live orchids. The Furniture GalleryThis counter is for sale too....and would look great in someone's shop. It even lights up. ....Vintage.... Well I hope you enjoyed this store. I know I did.
Stop by and see them soon! Main Street Antiques 201 W. Main Street Leesburg

Good morning everyone! Stay tuned I have another great store to tell you all about.....and the pictures....well I know you are going to love them.
I'm planning some great thrifting adventures in the coming days. Over the next week I'll be in Ocala, St Augustine, Leesburg and Clermont.
If you're looking for a great sale tomorrow stop by Not So Shabby, in Ocoee, for their moving sale. As of April 1st, you can visit them at 639 Eighth St in Clermont. I love that this store is owned by a Mother Daughter duo. The owners are Beth Ann & Kelly Lauren Page. It's so inspiring to see women entrepreneurs. Their motto is "If It's Not Brand New, It's Brand Name" I'm excited with this store. I see great things ahead for them. The store is fresh and young. It offers a beautiful selection of items. Such as handcrafted jewelry. Jewelry from the Tuscan Arizona Gem Show, Teenage Accessories, New Sunglasses and Belts. Not to mention named brand clothes and purses. They also have home decor items, such as handpainted artwork... The ladies will even be adding a furniture room soon. Kelly & Beth do a great job at putting outfits together. I love how they hang them on the wall with matching accessories. Have a look at some of their accessories....... This bracelet has so much detail....it would make a wonderful gift. This bracelet goes perfect with these boots. Huge selection of new belts and new sunglasses. These necklaces were my favorite! I hope you will stop by and say hello to Beth & Kelly at "And Everything Under The Sun" Their store is open Monday - Saturday, 10am -6pm To see more pictures of my visit click here on their homepage.
This store is growing by the day. Be sure to stay tuned. My Renninger's visit continues....I saved these pictures for last. I thought that all these items would look great in one room....Tell me what you think.. I spoke with the vendor who was selling this unique bed. He also sells at Traditions Antique Mall in Wildwood. The bed looks like it is leather, but I'm not sure....it's really different. It would certainly be the focal point of a room. Perhaps this chest at the end of the bed. The color of these lamps are so vivid. Now they just need that perfect shade. I think I need to search my pictures for a dresser and comfy chair to complete the room.
I went back to Renninger's this weekend for the Antique Fair. Renninger's has their Antique Fair on the third weekend of every month, which brings in more dealers. I was there a couple of hours and didn't even make it to the flea market side. Maybe next week.... The vendor selling this cute shabby chic table also sells at Traditions Antique Mall in Wildwood. I had a conversation with her about the table. She said it is actually a ladies smoking table. It conceals an ash tray....here is a close up. I wish you could zoom in and see a close up of this. This was crazy....there was so much jewelry. This particular booth was selling jewelry for just $3.00 a piece. I just loved this picture... it looks beachy but feminine too. Well that's a little of what I saw at Renningers Antique Fair.....I'll show you some more tomorrow
Victoria's Antique Warehouse in Leesburg......certainly is not thrifty by any means. This store is beautifully designed. Each setting looking like it could be the cover of a magazine. You will enjoy browsing the showroom looking for that perfect piece for your home. Then head back to the warehouse where old found treasures are given a new life.....by Victoria's carpenter. That's all for now...I'm headed out to Mt Dora to Renningers....I'll post pictures of my thrifty finds tonight. Have a wonderful day!
Our next stop in Wildwood would be The Red Door. Located at 207 S. Main St...... From the moment I saw the outside of the building I just knew I would love this store. I love gardening and flowers and old things! This store was heaven...... The Red Door has a combination of recycled and new items. It's a great place to find that special gift. I think you will be very pleased with The Red Door. There are plenty of unique items and the prices are very affordable. This should be the store to visit for Mother's Day.....
Yay! I finally made it to Wildwood to visit Traditions Antique Mall. It was fantastic ...so worth the trip. With 30,000 square feet of vendor space there was certainly plenty to see. This is a great place to spend the day. They even have a restaurant to grab some lunch. Okay I know you are waiting for the pictures...so here you go! These children chairs are adorable....the picture is a little out of focus but I just had to show them to you. This screen was incredible and very affordable. My Mom was begging for me to buy this one for my home. I loved it but couldn't think of where I would put it :( This hutch above and the screen below belong to a vendor named Denise. I met her sometime back at Not So Shabby in Ocoee. She has such a great eye for decor. She works at Traditions on Thursdays...so ask for her by name. She is very friendly and knows the best places to shop from Wildwood to Ocoee. Okay I have no idea....maybe it's a coversation piece. Now for a few pictures for the guys out there...... Now for the kids.... Well it's been a long day...see you tomorrow...for my visit to Leesburg.
Well the weekend is upon us and I have so much thriftiness planned. Today I am off to Wildwood. I'm going prepared this time with directions, the gps and Mama (she's my store spotter). So I am sure to not get lost today.
I met a new store owner this week in the Ocoee area. I think you will enjoy her store. She has a variety of items.... I was very inspired with her jewelry line. I'll stop by next week and capture some pictures. So stay tuned. I've been receiving many emails suggesting stores to visit. The list is growing and growing. I sure could use your help. If you go to a great store, grab the address and send me a review. I'll be going to Ocala at the end of the month. I've been invited on a Thrifting Bus Tour. How exciting is that! I will visit five stores in one day. I sure could use some help. If you go to a great store, write the address down and tell me about your visit. You could leave it in a comment here on the page or email me. If you are looking for some stores in your area...I added a new page to the site. It is the Store Directory |
Thrift Happy continues to grow daily. All states are in the process of being added. Submit your favorite store! Enjoy!
