Wow, what a great day at The Fancy Flea! Well I am so excited to share with you the pictures from my trip to The Fancy Flea in Lakeland, Florida. I arrived early to find the street already busy with so many shoppers. I saw several familiar faces thoughout the day. Some were shopping and some were selling. I finally met Deb from The Vintage Soul. I have followed her on Facebook for sometime now. I always enjoy the beautiful pictures she posts of her store in Saint Cloud, Florida. She didn't disappoint her fans at the Fancy Flea...these vintage chairs are hers with her signature shabby chic pillows. Love them! Her friend Lisa from House of Envy was also there sharing her booth. She has the most fabulous line of flip flops called Cowgirl Envy. I was happy to see Kim from Dear Daisy Cottage. She has the most wonderful blog. Her photographs and talent for writing inspire me. You will want to visit her page and see her post on The Fancy Flea. Her pictures put mine to shame... she actually told me she points and shoots... I think not.. Have a look you will love them! Such talent.... Paris Rags... So Romantic... This desk and matching chair was my favorite find of the day. It would look just perfect in a guest room Antique buyer and decorator, Toni Moody was selling her latest vintage finds. I stopped by her booth to say hello and grab a few pictures for her page on Thrift Happy. She always has the most interesting displays of vintage decor. Well I hope you enjoyed my visit to the Fancy Flea. It was so much fun seeing all the great vintage finds and even more fun meeting new people. Happy Thrifting!!!

For more information about The Antique Market and the unique antique shopping experience this shop has to offer, please contact Angela Galen, Manager-Owner at 865-463-8699 The Covesville Store located in Central Virginia on Route 29 between Charlottesville & Lovingston. The building is a 100-year-old structure that was originally a Cider Company & Country Store. It's a large rambling building with double wraparound porches in a country setting. If the weather is nice, you'll generally find all kinds of antique & vintage furniture outside. The porche & inside are full of antiques, primitives & decorative accessories. Don't forget to ramble upstairs too where you'll find more antiques & household items. Be sure to keep an eye out for “red dots” on price tags. These items have been reduced to $1.00 each. If you can’t visit in person, shop their website at www.Covesvillestore.com. The whole idea behind The Covesville Store is high volume with huge loads always coming & going. You'll see low prices on items that span the whole spectrum from $1.00 to $2,000. While The Covesville Store is not a boutique where everything is polished & perfectly arranged, the experience is truly unique. From the moment you drive up you'll feel that vintage charm. From the huge porch filled with antiques, to the wooden floors that lead you throughout..... every nook and cranny filled with something from the past.... Oh I'm in heaven!!! I love this dresser... paint it white ... add some glass knobs, so Shabby Chic! The green side table. Simply perfect! The patina on the fireplace mantle is incredible.... Well this is The Covesville store....I told you, you would just love it!

Today I visited "Antiques & Uniques". Located in Ocoee, right off Bluford Avenue, at 104 W. Mckey Street. The owners are very nice. The owner Robin said that she has been in business eleven years. She is very informative about the antiques. Her co-owner Carmen is fantastic at arranging items into creative displays. They are welcoming and willing to negotiate their prices Vintage 1950's table and chairs.
Terrific green sofa. The fabric and woodwork was beautiful. So Lovely! They have two of these. The woodwork in unbelievable. Carmen suggested using them as a wall hanging. What a great idea.
