The Covesville Store located in Central Virginia on Route 29 between Charlottesville & Lovingston. The building is a 100-year-old structure that was originally a Cider Company & Country Store. It's a large rambling building with double wraparound porches in a country setting. If the weather is nice, you'll generally find all kinds of antique & vintage furniture outside. The porche & inside are full of antiques, primitives & decorative accessories. Don't forget to ramble upstairs too where you'll find more antiques & household items. Be sure to keep an eye out for “red dots” on price tags. These items have been reduced to $1.00 each. If you can’t visit in person, shop their website at www.Covesvillestore.com. The whole idea behind The Covesville Store is high volume with huge loads always coming & going. You'll see low prices on items that span the whole spectrum from $1.00 to $2,000. While The Covesville Store is not a boutique where everything is polished & perfectly arranged, the experience is truly unique. From the moment you drive up you'll feel that vintage charm. From the huge porch filled with antiques, to the wooden floors that lead you throughout..... every nook and cranny filled with something from the past.... Oh I'm in heaven!!! I love this dresser... paint it white ... add some glass knobs, so Shabby Chic! The green side table. Simply perfect! The patina on the fireplace mantle is incredible.... Well this is The Covesville store....I told you, you would just love it!
I hope you can visit soon. Covesville Store 5930 Covesville Store Road Covesville, VA 22931 If you do tell the owners Kathy of Thrift Happy sent you.... and be sure to comment about your trip, here on Thrift Happy. May you find a new treasure today...

You will love historic downtown Clermont located just a short distance from Orlando and the major attractions. I just love the small town feel of this place. If you are visiting the Central Florida areas be sure to put Clermont on your map. It is packed with charm, great people and wonderful stores. They are some of my favorites. The owners Trish and Laura put together a beautiful store. It is full of new items and gently used furniture and home decor. They are always coming up with some new way to repurpose and recycle. I've seen purses made from wool sweaters to her newest creation "Sock Fans".... They sold out at Christmas...but a new group of Sock Fans are back in time for Valentine's Day. I hope you enjoy Not So Shabby.
