I went to Dechoes tonight for "Wine Not Wednesday". It was much more than I expected. The place was full of activity. What a fantastic idea this shopowner had to host such an event. An evening of shopping, food, wine and entertainment. What more could you ask for? Dechoes unveiled their spring collection tonight. They had a huge selection of women's dresses. I found a cute little green dress. I did my usual...I'll think about that...and put it back on the rack. Then I decided I would get it and someone else had snagged it. I have to stop doing that, I'm missing out. I did get a Ann Taylor skirt for 4.99. What a steal! I only have a few pictures of the night. It was very busy at Dechoes so it was a little hard to get good pictures. Also I was completely absorbed with shopping....Sorry. I will tell you that there was so much going on. I just loved it. Even a person doing henna tatoos, for a donation to Haiti Relief. How great is that! I should have got one...oh next time. Love this! Tonight was so much fun. I can't wait to go again next month.

I took a trip back to two of my favorite stores today. Not So Shabby was my first stop. The owner, Trish was working hard preparing for her big sidewalk sale this Saturday. Be sure to visit her on Saturday. I know I am! The entrance has been redesigned. Love the wicker chairs. It now has that front porch feel. Complete with a little one standing on his head. How cute! I just loved this chair on my last visit. I can not believe it is still here. Surely someone will snatch this up by Saturday, especially since it is at the low price of $30. Wouldn't this look great in my Bedroom Challenge! Now this has to be the deal of the week. This beautiful handmade vintage vanity....are you ready...only $99.00. Unblievable!!!! Why don't I have a bigger house? It is just fantastic, three mirrors, six drawers with glass knobs. It is to die for. Wouldn't it look fantastic with that little blue chair? Look at this kitty. It is just precious. There were several throughout the store....they look so real... you'll think you heard them purr... I hope to see you at Not So Shabby this Saturday, Feb 6, starting at 10am, for the Sidewalk Sale. You won't be disappointed! So many great items at great prices. Next Stop...My next stop was Preloved Affordables. The owner, Carmen has been busy. She has reworked her store giving it a fresh new look. She had these wonderful orchids, they have a really nice smell. Carmen told me the exact name...but I can't remember....I have to start writing things down. She has great plans for the front of her store. A few more weeks to let the weather warm up and she will planting a victorian garden. I can't wait to see it. She already has a wrought iron fence up to edge the garden. I told her she just has to plant some herbs.... Nice bench for the garden....and...look at that fan. Carmen had just finished with this display of vintage hats when I came in today. She is so creative. Love the little table they are sitting on. Great shabby chic dresser for someones bedroom! She also had a gentleman's chest that had just come in to the store. Valentine items for your sweetheart. Stop by and see Carmen at Preloved Affordables in Winter Garden.
