I woke up this morning just knowing I had to go back to Page's Pastiques. Yesterday I was just too rushed to give this store the time it deserved. So this morning I headed back with camera in hand. The owner Jennifer was so kind to show me around and tell me all about her wonderful items. Here are a few of them..... These large trays are beautifully painted. This next piece really stood out to me. It's a vintage dresser that has been turned into a sink. I've seen many reproductions lately in department stores. But this one is one of a kind. You will love it! You will love this dinette set! It comes complete with china cabinet and arm chairs. Now how fantastic is this...It's not often that you get to warm yourself by a real wood burning stove while shopping. Now this next picture when I saw it I thought...what in the world. Jennifer told me they are to hold a gold fish bowl. How unique! If you are in need of a lamp or lighting. The selection of vintage lamps here is incredible. The owner has even created a few of her own. If you love to collect things then this may be for you.....they are Sterling Silver Salt Spoons....and they are exquisite. There are so many different kinds. The owner actually has them custom made by a jeweler. You will also love the glass salt dips that go with them. Every formal table should have these. Wow I think this was my longest post so far. There was so much to see here. I feel like I didn't even come close to showing all that is here. Stop by Page's Pastiques and see what treasures you may find. If you do make sure you tell her that Kathy of Thrift Happy sent you. Happy Thrifting Everybody!

I am so happy that I faced the cold weather today and ventured out. Today was lovely. I decided to grab Mama and take her with me. She is always glad to be my partner in thrifting. Our first stop would be Page's Pastiques, located at 741 Tildenville School Rd, Winter Garden, 34787. This shop is full of antiques, lighting and furniture. The selection of vintage linens was incredible. I even saw several chenille blankets. I think I could of spent several hours in here and still wouldn't have seen everything. If only we had more hours in the day..... We're back on the road...Next stop The Hen's Nest, located 127 West Washington Street, Minneola, 34715. Now this store is the home decorator's dream store. There is something here for every type of decorating style and every budget. This store will soon become your favorite. I will stop talking and let the pictures speak for themselves. So enjoy! There are so many creative signs. This next one is my favorite. I loved these garden themed rooms....now this is my style. Well I hope you enjoyed my visits to Page's Pastiques and The Hen's Nest. Both of these stores would be great to visit with a friend....you will have so much fun discovering new items around every corner. When you go make sure you tell the owners that you saw their store on Thrift Happy. Leave me a comment....let me know what you think of my visits.....Happy Thrifting Everyone!
I've decided to face the weather...I'm off to thrift....stay tuned for pictures.
I'm having my coffee and trying to decide to thrift or not today. The weather is so cold out side. But I am really wanting to go to Traditions in Wildwood. Decisions....Decisions.
Is anyone going to Renninger's Antique Extravaganza this weekend? If so leave me a comment. Look at this beautiful scene created by Thrift Happy reader Betty. The screen was a $2 find....fantastic!
Today I went back to The Vintage View, located on Montrose Street, in historic downtown Clermont. What a wonderful visit. I walked the store several times. It's funny each time around I would discover something new. Wow! What a great set. This would make a wonderful gift for someone. If you love to collect angels there are plenty to chose from. I love colored glassware, especially green. I've noticed I'm always drawn to it in each store I visit. ATTENTION: THRIFT HAPPY READER BETTY I took this picture just for you... Wouldn't this look wonderful in your Shabby Chic bedroom? The Vintage View has something for everyone from jewelry to books. You can even find some vintage toys for the kids. Today I was at the beach...well not really...I went to Beach House Living, located at the corner of Edgewater and Fairbanks. This way to Beach Decor! This table and chairs are sure to brighten your day. The dresser and mirror in the background you just have to see. Now I knew this room was going to be good. My son was waiting by the door with a big grin on his face. This was a small room, but it was packed with so much to see. Look at that mirror and the green chest below. Artwork was every where. The picture below shows the other side of the room. If you like what you see...stay tuned...I'll post some more today. I am off to the Clermont/Minneola area. So expect a huge post tonight. Have a Thrift Happy today.....AND LEAVE ME SOME COMMENTS...I want to hear from you all....AND SEND ME PICS OF YOUR THRIFTY FINDS.

Today my son and I were off to Mount Dora. Our intentions were to go to Renningers Flea Market. We left the house with a general idea of how to get Mount Dora. Although we didn't know the exact location of the flea market. The ride there was so enjoyable with hardly any traffic. As we entered Mount Dora I immediately got excited. The place has that old small town feel with huge oak trees and historic buildings everywhere. Our first stop would be the Village Antique Mall. You won't miss this place with these sitting out front....not sure what they are all about...I thought they were kind of creepy. I loved this room. I came across this booth and met the owner. A very nice man who has been in the antique business for forty years. He does such a wonderful job at displaying his items. In this display there were various relegious books of all denominations. He said they all get along! How funny. Then I came across this booth. I'm not sure what the green tub thing was, I even took a closer look, but couldn't figure it out. I thought it was interesting. Oh how I wish this picture would have turned out better. The items here were exquisite. The pink tea set on the top shelf was gorgeous. I could go on and on about this place, but time to move on. Next stop would be downtown Mount Dora around fifth street. There were so many shops downtown. The Painter's Daughter had to be my favorite. It was just different. The store itself is an old building that has been creatively decorated. It had wooden floors and the walls painted in an array of colors. Around every corner there were inspiring words written on the walls. Upstairs there was an art gallery...strangely enough there were discarded shoes all around the edge of the room....I should have asked what that was about? The store sells designer clothing and shoes. You will also find antiques, jewelry and artwork. Wouldn't you love to have this mirror? I'm hoping to go back here and take more pictures. It was a great day in Mount Dora. I plan to go back soon and make it to Renningers. I hope you all enjoy my pictures....
