I would like to introduce you to The Hen's Nest of Minneola, Florida. Wow, what a wonderful store! I stopped by today to visit with the owner, Lois Skipper. She was preparing her store for it's 15th Annual Holiday Open House, which is this Saturday, November 5th, 2011. The open house starts at 10am. I can't wait... it should be a wonderful shopping experience. So grab some friends and visit The Hen's Nest. You won't be disappointed. They are going to have lots of goodies and door prizes. The store is decorated throughout with seasonal decor for the fall season and for Christmas. The Hen's Nest also has over twenty five vendors selling everything from Antiques, to collectibles to one of a kind items. Each vendor has donated an ornament to decorate an alpine Christmas tree. The tree will be raffled off to a lucky customer at the Annual Holiday Open House this Saturday. I just loved this next little Christmas tree. It's decorated with Cardinals which are my favorite. What a fantastic selection of vintage ornaments. Even a tree for the kitchen....with vintage kitchen utensils...so creative! I hope to see you at The Hen's Nest on Saturday, November 5th, 2011. It should be a wonderful Holiday Open House. The Hen's Nest 127 W Washington St Minneola, Fl 34715 352-242-9484 If you can't make it to the sale, be sure to stop by soon.
. The Hen's Nest's Hours are: Monday 12-5 Tues - Friday 10-5 Sat 10-2 If you are looking for everyday decor you can find that too. There is decor for every style and budget. Have a look at some more pictures here of the Hen's Nest. Good-bye to my little shop at Renningers:(
What an experience I have had being a vendor. From the very first day of setting up shop and purchasing items. To this last week of taking it all a part. I have enjoyed it all. The best part being meeting so many wonderful people. Gail & Dennis, who sell the most lovely plants. Thank you so much for everything. The two of you were always helpful. Maurice, our music man and owner of the coolest booth on Aisle E. Each day I looked forward to your positive attitude, your words of encouragement, and listening to you play your beautiful music. Diana, whose been selling the cutest collectibles for years at Renningers. Thank you for all the times you watched my booth:) Teresa the nicest lady, it has been a pleasure being around you. Marcie the early bird of aisle E. It was great meeting you. I enjoyed our conversations. Len, the sign maker & Deb, his wife. Deb you are the happiest person. Your laughter is so infectious. Len you are a mess and always crack me up. Oh and don't let me forget, my flirting buddy, Jeff. You were way too much fun! Best wishes to you all, I hope you have a wonderful selling season!!! We have a new neighbor at Renningers Flea Market.
I'm sorry to say, I've yet to ask his name, so for now I've decided to call him "the Music Man". He has a wonderful booth full of vintage items. You will find everything from schwinn bikes, guitars to eight track tapes. You will be most impressed with his huge selection of music memorabilia. Stop by and see his booth located at aisle E at Renningers in Mount Dora. Wow, what a fantastic time I've been having working our little booth at Renningers. I had no idea how much fun this would be. We found this great vintage dresser after a long day of shopping. What an experience we had getting it in the car. I had to be up bright and early to get this sign at a church rummage sale! Trust me ... I'm no early bird ... so this was not easy for me. What do you think of my birdbath? I created it myself... I love this small desk and hutch.
I really want to keep this one ... hope someone buys it fast. Well that's all for now... if you are in the Central Florida area come see us at Renningers Twin Market in Mount Dora. Flea Market side Aisle E - Booth 21. Open every Saturday and Sunday. What a wonderful day...today was our very first day at Renningers in Mount Dora. We are located on Aisle E, booth 21. If you are in the area I hope you will stop by and see us. We have an assortment of items right now. We look forwart to concentrating on garden decor and plants with a few one of kind creations thrown into the mix. Have a look at our Garden Booth. I love our brick path...painted by Carmen. Carmen has created this great piece of furniture for the garden or porch. Painted in a soft yellow and embellished with iron. This statue was my favorite garden find of the week. I bet it would look beautiful in your garden. How about a one of a kind mosaic tea cart or a custom garden shelf. I hope you will stop by and see us soon.
