Travel along Orange Avenue in Orlando and you are certain to find something special. I posted last week about my visit to
Art Angels Arts & Antique Mall, they are located on the south end of Orange Avenue. After leaving I headed back north on Orange to find a couple more stores.
First a huge thrift store called, Community Thrift Store located at 5456 South Orange Avenue. I stopped in here. They had a huge selection of clothing. This store reminded me of the salvation army. It's not a pretty, pretty store but worth the stop.
My next stop would be the Bargain House, located at 3301 S. Orange Ave. You can't miss this one. A bright little yellow house, packed full of antique furniture. The owner Jim was very nice and let me take some pictures.

Bargain House Furniture
His store is packed from floor to ceiling with furniture. There is also a garage in the back that is overflowing with antiques. I didn't go all through the garage....that will be on my next visit :-)
The piece below just arrived and was priced to sell. It is gorgeous with such detail. Love it!

Just $89 @ The Bargain House
After leaving The Bargain House. I drove for a while to the North end of Orange Ave. I came across Something Different, located at 1618 N. Orange Ave. This was such a fun store offering midcentury to modern furniture. So many things here from 1960's and 70's. The colors are fantastic. As soon as walked in, it was a flash back to my childhood.....(oops showing my age now) Well have a look!

'Look at those chairs'

l loved the shape of the sofas.

Wow! Couch and Table all one piece.

This looked so highend and such a fun print on the chairs.

I swear we had this clock when I was a kid!

So retro and love the red!
There are many more stores along Orange Avenue that I didn't get to on this day. The rain was moving in fast on me which rushed my visits. I can't wait to go back and see what I find! If you need directions to any of these stores click on my
Store Directory.
